I do not read very much outside of school. i read a letter that my boyfriend wrote to m every night because he lives somewhere else. I also read music, song titles, etc. for work. I am a dance teacher so I am constantly looking for new music. I read and write text messages, Facebook messages, and reading Facebook, instagram, and pinterest updates. Occasionally I will read celebrity gossip or news along those lines. The only thing I can think of that I read are bills and such.
I'm not sure, yet, how this article influenced my idea about myself as a future educator. I guess I am glad to have technology as a tool for teaching. I find it helpful when you have the right type of technology or if you use it in a constructive manor. For example, I used to volunteer in a 3rd grade classroom where the teacher brought her iPad to class the used education apps to help the students better learn their times tables and such.
